Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients
1/2 cup canola or olive oil
1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons cane sugar
1 package Simply Organic French Onion Dip Mix
2 cups shredded broccoli stalks(about 6 to 8 stalks)
1/3 cup toasted sunflower seeds
Directions
In a small mixing bowl, blend the oil, vinegar, cane sugar and French Onion Dip Mix. Place broccoli and sunflower seeds in a large mixing bowl. Toss in liquid dressing mix and chill.
Chef Suggestions
Serve as side with fresh deli sandwiches. Add in 1/8 cup shredded carrots for flavor and color.

Toast sunflower seeds by tossing seeds and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil together and spreading out on baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes, checking seeds often so not to burn. They will develop a great flavor in just a few minutes. Set aside to cool before use.
