Organic Farming Research Foundation
The Organic Farming Research Foundation is the biggest recipient in the last ten years of SO1% donations, with a total of $110,000 granted. We are dedicated to supporting this excellent organization because it is directly involved in supporting and publishing on-farm organic research.
As a well-organized and respected organic farming organization, OFRF serves as the voice of organic agriculture in Federal and State government, with land-grant universities and other public institutions, to insure organic farmers are getting the support, information and research they need to be economically viable.
We are especially pleased to have been in a position to step up this year and increase our yearly support from $10,000 to $25,000, to help make up some of the funding shortfall caused by the poor economy.
OFRF Mission
- To sponsor research related to organic farming;
- To disseminate research results to organic farmers and to growers interested in adopting organic production systems; and
- To educate the public and decision-makers about organic farming issues.
