Ingredients: Organic Nonfat Milk, Organic Maltodextrin, Organic Potato Starch, Sea Salt, Organic Butter Flavor, Organic Garlic, Silicon Dioxide, Organic White Pepper, Organic Nutmeg. Contains: Milk
Directions: 1. In a saucepan, heat 1 1/2 cups of milk and 1 1/2 tbsp. butter until butter melts.
2. Add packet contents to saucepan and stir until completely dissolved. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
3. Add 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese and stir constantly for 20 seconds.
4. Remove from heat and serve over freshly prepared fettuccine noodles, 8 oz. dry.
Makes 4 servings.
Suggested Uses: For pasta primavera, prepare as above and toss in fresh sauteed vegatables.
For alfredo style party potatoes, whip packet contents into 3-4 cups prepared mashed potatoes.
For a tasty appetizer clean and destem 1 lb. mushrooms. Mix packet contents with 8 oz. cream cheese, and 1 cup shredded chease. Spoon mix into mushroom caps and place in pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 375 F. Lightly broil at end if desired.

Alfredo or pasta tossed with cheese and butter or cream has a long history. The dish was invented by Alfredo di Lelio at his restaurant Alfredo alla Scrofa in 1914. Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, fell in love with the dish while on their honeymoon in 1927, and brought it back to the states; branches of Alfredo’s restaurants in the US soon followed.
